Made a vegetarian chili today. Well, I actually made it Friday but we had it again tonight. Tomatoes from the garden for the base, and subbed in red lentils and kidney beans for the meat. Added jalapeños from the garden for heat in my own bowl as well. Also used some local honey from a friend of mine, @sassymal, who raises her own bees to sweeten it up a bit. It was delicious!
I'm always dreaming about next season's garden, and imagining all the possibilities. A few years ago I had an all yellow section of the garden, and it was so pretty. Next year I may go for a purple theme... via @miaslittlefarm#yellow

Enjoying the last weeks of my Winter Garden. Soon a lot of this will have to come out - one of the downsides of having limited space is having to clear out beds even when they could still keep going. Things that are still producing well will be transplanted in to pots. I have big plans for this particular raised bed which I will reveal soon!!! Lots of Lettuce to eat through over the next few weeks 🌿
