The 2016 Chawangpu Menghai Xiao Bing Cha. This 100g cake was $4.50 and it is one of the most enjoyable shou pu'erh I have ever had, if not the most. I ordered a tong of it a couple days ago (definitely the cheapest tong that I will ever order.. $45?!?) it's so sweet and thick and smooth, and complex like shou rarely is. It's so sweet with a hint of roughness, and has the ricey and chocolatey notes I love to find. This made me want to try the @chawangshop sheng offerings, though they don't offer samples on their new 2016 ones so I ordered a couple 200g cakes.

Salt, nuts, hints of pepper and earthiness. Greatly accompanied by a Yunnan Dian Hong from @teavivre. Specifically the Ancient Wild Tree.
Flavor profile on the tea is a caramelized sweetness with cacao noted. There is a deeper note of spiciness to accompany the @olivacigar Melanio pepperiness.
