♥✨🍁Happiest Autumn Equinox 🍁✨♥
Coffee chats on trains to Oslo with my witchy sister @chaosapparition was a perfect start such a beauty of a day. Lucky for her she was actually on the train while I was vicariously following along via SlowTV on Netflix 😂
A trip to the market for my favorite somosas from @goldenunicornnb before settling in to the studio to craft these amazing autumn inspired diffusers. Leather essential oil leaf diffusers are a fantastic way to bring your favorite scents on the go. Watch for them in the Etsy shop next week! These seasonal hues are only around for the fall so grab your favorite while you can!!
Going through all my cover stock I found these covers that I had prepped for binding last season so I threw this one together.
6" x 9" splayed alder charcoal sketchbook with buffalo leather and antique copper fox pendant inlay.
⭐️❤️ Work it, work it, own it, make it. ✨ Woven art works via @maryannemoodie. What are you working on this week?

A new bowl in a new clay. This gray clay is not as plastic as the one I usually use, but I am eager to try out new surfaces. Will be working in 5 clay types this week. Will likely continue with 2 or three of them, but will not know until they are tested with glaze.

'THE DIVIDE' - Handwoven by Kass // "Allowing the 'light' to come into your life can become challenging at times. As we get caught up on 'to do lists' or the expectations of pleasing others, we can forget to enjoy and savour those moments of joy. This giant beauty was created during a sensitive time where I found it difficult to connect and communicate with a particular person in my life. The frustrations of being misunderstood and under appreciated lead me to think standing my ground and resisting was the 'best way'. Eventually I realised to move forward, I had to practice patience, empathy and show my vulnerable side for the guards to come down. At times the darkness may be the easiest way out... though that is not the case as hurt people hurt people. Through perseverance and understanding, healing people with kindness is the way to go." - Kass 🙏🏽✨🙏🏽 // What does this piece symbolise for you? How does it speak to you? .
Handwoven by Kass featuring up-cycled denim, canvas, linen, shibori, upholstery, marine roping, sisal, cotton roping, Pima cotton, Merino, twine, bamboo and seashells.

A quiet morning with my littlest guy. He's content to hang out while I get some underpainting done.
Happy Friday, folks!
