One of my favorite moments captured while sitting on top of Mount Shastina. Feeling infinitely small while gazing out into a vast landscape of tall mountains and trees, moments of serenity where the only noise that is heard comes from the birds who fly high in the sky being free just like me. Learning to embrace stillness and become part of the landscape, become something bigger than just this human experience observing nature as she's been for thousands of years. The feeling of being small is only felt when I think about myself, but as my point of view starts to shift and I become like the rock apart of the mountain I feel boundless and connected to this earth. Remembering that my body was created from the dust of starts and that when this experience is over my body will return into whence is came from and again I will be apart of this earth. Thank you great spirit for this journey, grateful for this time of learning and unlearning. May the change that is to come be for the highest good so that I may do the most good with this gift of a life.
