Savory Breakfast Waffles 🍃 Switching it up a bit on this sunny Sunday morning 😊 I’ve been wanting to try savory waffles for awhile but the recent creations from @clemfoodie convinced me to give it a go today 😋 Will definitely be doing more of them!! If interested, you’ll find the recipe below 😉 Happy Sunday guys!
Details 👉 1/2 cup (50g) @nu3_fr almond flour (you can use the code « wernou15 » for a 15% discount) + 1/4 cup oat flour (25g) + 1 egg + 1/3 cup (80ml) @alpro soy milk + 1/2 tsp baking powder + 1 tsp @terradelyssa_fr olive oil. Mix all the wet ingredients together before adding the dry ones. Use a whisk to blend well, then cook in your waffle maker for just a few minutes. If you like it, you can also add cheese to the batter for a more pronounced savory flavor 💯 Serve with a fried egg, avocado and salad 🌿
My niece and I went on a baking spree yesterday with all the ripe bananas 🍌We made some banana bread (recipe in my stories), some cookies, and these Almond Butter Banana Muffins that are my favorite thing to have with my morning coffee ☕️ Recipe:
2 small spotty bananas
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup almond butter
1/4 cup honey or agave
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tspn baking powder
1/2 tspn vanilla extract
Dash of cinnamon
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Mash the banana and add in the almond butter, honey, egg and vanilla. Whisk or blend until smooth. Pour in remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased mini muffin tin (makes about 20) and bake on 350 F for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
