I've not done a #transformationtuesday in a long time. It's because, right now, the way I'm looking/feeling doesn't warrant one! But I've had a lot of new people follow me recently so thought it's probably quite a good time to get the introductions started :) These pictures show me at my biggest and most miserable... and at my smallest and most obsessive. Right now, I'm in between and trying to find a happy balance!
I joined Slimming World in April 2013. I weighed 15stone 3.5lbs and was a size 20/22. The picture on the left shows my reason for starting... I miscarried my third baby at 14 weeks pregnant. That was my light bulb moment.
Fast forward to June 2016 and I finally reached target! I had lost 5 stone and had dropped to a size 10. It was a long slog for me. I had to work so hard for it. But with the #weightloss came other issues. I became completely obsessed with the number on the scales. I weighed every day.. sometimes several times. I wouldn't eat the day before weigh day. I was desperate to get into the 9 stone bracket.
Then in April 2017 I stopped. I told my husband the lengths I had been going to to keep my weight down. I decided I need to take a step back and work on my family life. I had to work on the realization that losing all the weight hadn't magnificently cured all my problems/issues!
Today... I'm somewhere in between these two pictures. I'm not a comfortable weight. But I'm not going to obsess or worry about it either. I'm going to lose this weight healthily and focus on my fitness. And I'm not going to set my target as low as I did. I'm actually not going to focus on the numbers as much at all. I have a size 12 skirt I want to fit into, and when I manage that comfortably... I'll be happy!
I går sagde jeg at jeg ikke skulle lave cardio i dag - men jeg kunne slet ikke styre mig, da jeg først kom op i centeret, så det blev til en bentræning og 1 time på crosstraineren 🤷♀️. Min frokost i dag, minder meget om den i går. Der er bare blevet tilføjet kylling i dag 😅. Nu skal jeg se lidt fjernsyn, inden jeg skal tilbage til eksamenslæsningen 🤦♀️🙄. #pvt18
No, it’s not #icecream for #breakfast day (should that be a holiday?) but, instead, time to buy more Jeni’s. Brambleberry Crisp is my favorite but Wrigley wants to try another flavor. Which one should I pick?

정말 정말 오랜만에 광화문 근처에 와서
처음으로 서촌에 가보았다!
아기자기한 개인숍,카페,식당, 등등이
골목 골목 숨어있는게 둘러보는 재미가 있다
빵집투어를 목적으로 갔던 서촌!
하지만 왠일! 가려던 베이커리들이
아직 오픈을 안했다....T.T
오전 11:30에 오픈 안한곳들이 꽤나 많다
가시려는 분들은 오픈시간 꼭! 확인하고 가시길🤦🏻♀️
이왕 이렇게 된거 근처에 일본 가정식맛집이 있다길래
향한곳이 바로 이곳! ‘누하의 숲’🧚🏽♀️
비좁은 계단을 올라 문을 열었는데 “이랏샤이마세~”
종업원들이 대부분 다 일본인들...😮
다행히도 한국어를 다들 잘하셔서
주문을 하고 내부를 둘러보는데
아기자기한 소품들이 여기저기 많다!👀
디테일이 살아있어! (종업원들이 무전기를 통해
일본말로 서로 대화하는걸 들으니
잠시동안이나마 일본에 와있는듯한 기분이 들었다)
1, 2층으로 되어있는데 손님들이 꽤 많다🌝
화요일 낮 12시가 되기 전인데 이정도면
숨은 맛집으로 인정~^^
저칼로리 메뉴들과 일반메뉴들이 있고
함께 나오는 밥은 몇가지의 재료들과 간장 등으로
약하게 조리가 되서 나온다 🤤
저 밥에 계란후라이+미소스프만 먹었어도
간단한 한 끼니 식사로 괜찮을듯~🙆🏻♀️
일본 본토 음식이 그렇듯 전체적으로
약간 간이 셌지만 재료가 신선해서인지
다음번에도 한번쯤은 다시 찾고싶을
