Travelling with kids can get tricky when it comes to food! I remember when my 2 year old son came along on our Europe trip with us and survived only on French fries and juice boxes. Being a first time mom I had all the essentials with me like a portable hot plate with pot to make his “khichdi” etc. Big news it did not work. Now I’ve become much more practical about things and I make sure I carry what my kids like cause at the end of the day hungry, cranky children in a strange city or country is a big No No!
You don’t always have access to local super markets and sometimes even a decent restaurant is no help. That’s when I bring out the big guns! Just use my portable hot plate to heat up parathas or the always helpful Maggi comes to the rescue! Once the kids have had a decent meal I’m one relieved mother! These have become my “travel buddies” as I call them and I don’t leave the country without them!
