New moment in life! Let’s get it in! Full extensions and full contraction of the back is necessary to fully develop the muscle. Allow the arms to fully extend at the bottom then pause for about 3 seconds and allow the traps then the mid back to flex the weight up. It’s slow movement but you get every fiber. Moving through it’s full range allows for proper neural development and better performance with less likelihood of injury. By the way, that is not a lot of weight. Not a secret that this year’s started real fucking rough for me, I have court in a week, I’ve relapsed and I’ve lost a handful of friends. Butttt none of that will stop my growth, recovery and happiness, they’re irrelevant to my wellbeing and I’d rather focus on getting myself back on track.

First time filming front on for ages, now clear to see the hip shift isn’t so bad but it’s actually my right shoulder.... collar bone pops out every now and again (old rugby injury) then for a few weeks my right trap and neck tighten up until it sorts itself out. Most casual 250 squat I’ve ever done. Zero adrenaline today.
“I broke up with fear, so I could marry my dreams”. 🤗 I saw this on the post little bit ago and it really hit me hard. Are you allowing your fears to hold you back? I totally did for a long time. I literally almost drank myself to death many times in the past avoiding the fear of not being good enough or failing-This act essentially just brought me to failure without even having a chance. I thought if I didn’t put the effort forth I could always just think well if I would have… Or if I really wanted to I could have… Today, now, I know I was just running away from fear of failure. 10 months ago I really decided to stop being afraid… I started embracing everything I have learned About myself over the past nine years of daily yoga practice. I began to realize I have been running and that it was time for me to take my passion on the road and share with other like-minded individuals. I began to graciously accept invitations to come to studios And teach where as I had always been afraid to accept in the past. Now, Over the past year of teaching, cultivating relationships and memories that will last a lifetime-I truly feel I am for filling my deepest purpose. I am taking everything I struggled with over the past 35 years and using it to help others grow and learn more about themselves. 😊Right now I am in the backseat of a car driving from Monterrey Mexico(where I taught three workshops) to Torreon, Mexico where I’m going to teach four workshops over the next three days. I’m super excited for the experience and look forward to making friends that will last a lifetime. Want me to come to your studio? I would love to. DM :-)
