A useful tip for you all! So I dunno about you guys, but around this time of year when stores are full of Christmas decorations, my mind tends to go into overdrive imagining the possibilities for costume use. Problem : a lot of the ornaments are crusted in that annoying fine glitter that gets everywhere and looks terrible when painted over. Solution! Just toss them in a container with some NON acetone nail polish remover for about 30 minutes. This dissolves the glue holding the glitter on without damaging the plastic base! It turns into glitter goop that you can rinse off with warm water (if there’s a bunch of crevices, a scrub with a cheapo toothbrush will make quick work of de-glittering). Before on the left, after on the right. All smooth and ready for repainting! 🎄✨ #costumedesign#cosplay#christmasornaments#glitter#craftherpes
Thank you all so much for the feedback on these pots, I'm glad you're enjoying these so far 💜Here is another piece done! A simple Ghibli medley. I watched @sugarcharmshop Youtube tutorial for inspiration on the mini gingerbread house. I hope you like it! 💜
These will be available on the shop update tomorrow, Sunday night at 11.30pm GMT. ❄️☃️
Big vs Little! I’m honestly so surprised at how much I like this color combo. I’m usually really partial to blues, but I really love how these turned out. The big piece is the one I painted in last weeks #processvideo and the small one is one of my Christmas ornaments that is NOW AVAILABLE! (Surprise restock! 🙌)
This little Charlie Brown tree is one of my favorites from a few years ago. Usually I leave him just as he is, but when I came across these beautiful wooden ornaments from @thailandwithlove I knew it was a perfect fit. I shared about this amazing company a few days ago on my stories, but I can’t be happier to support a shop that gives back. They do that not only in their hiring, but in their profits as well. They pour back what God blesses them with into SE Asia ministries to continue to support the communities in need there. They have many gorgeous artisan made pieces, so I encourage you to go take a look, and support a company who supports others too!
