Squatting in the cable machine 😱 LOVE IT! It’s not that strict as it feels with the smith machine. I did it in the end of my session and went slowly down in the eccentric phase. ( The video is speeded ) 🤩🌸
I haven’t had an actual post in like 5 days or so. I’ve been in the gym quite a bit, just really being intentional about the workouts. I’ve noticed I sometimes get caught in making my content up to my standard, that I get a little distracted. I know that sometimes I need a quick break to re-center.
I’m really focused on creating habits for mental gains this year. Self-care is important.
Number 1: I want to make journaling a daily activity. It takes 20 minutes or less. It also helps you get your unfiltered thoughts out on paper. It’s only for you.
Number 2: read more. Just gaining knowledge on specific things that will help me grow as a person and in my career.
Number 3: Delayed Gratification. I’ve been working on this for a while now but I want to keep it at the forefront. Holding off on indulgences like going out to eat, and buying material things. It helps you cherish those things more when you delay the gratification. “A goal without a plan is just a wish”-Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
I have my plan. No wish. No magic. Just consistent work.
