The past few days I️ have been soo unmotivated to cook my own healthy meals. i’ve eaten out more than usual and even though I️ mostly choose good options, there are still way more calories and artificial ingredients in those foods than there would be if I️ made a home cooked meal. Sometimes cooking (even though i usually love it) requires just as much willpower and time commitment as getting in a workout when you really don’t want to. The biggest shift in my mindset since I️ started my fitness journey has been accepting the fact that I️ will have good weeks and bad, and the fact that life gets the best of me sometimes doesn’t mean I’m not moving in the right direction. That being said you just have to force yourself out of a rut, and I’m glad I️ have this page to hold me accountable! Stuffed peppers (my specialty😋) recipe on my story; so inexpensive and easy.
In my opinion #salt is the single most important ingredient in food! If you love to cook and have not tried @maldonsalt1882 head to your grocery store and pick a box of this specialty salt out. It’s great to season all forms of food and especially great for finishing like in this case where the foie gras that topped the ribeye cap just needed a touch of salt on top!
