It's half term next week and so many people are off on adventures and holidays and as we are not going anywhere I decided to console myself with looking back at our Portugal trip! I have so much more to write and share and more videos to edit but I have shared what we got up to in our first week, which consisted of pool time, parrots, ice cream and as much relaxation as you can have whilst holidaying with two children! I have so many photos I took too but I absolutely love this one, for their happy faces and for the random child in the background who looks like he is in awe of Eddy!
Right I had better get back to getting out of my duvet and listening to Eva moaning it's cold....bring summer back!!!!!!
Have you ever stood in a wild place and stared at something so majestic that it brought tears to your eyes? I have.
Have you ever stood in a place where the only sound in the world was the rustling of leaves through trees? I have.
Have you ever stood in a place so grand that you felt tiny and insignificant? I have.
Have you ever seen a sight that was more spectacular than you ever imagined and you could not believe was real? I have.
Have you ever spent time in a place where there was no other place but that one? I have.
Go outside. You’ll find these things there. And they will change you.
Just @clasual -ly standing on a lake. I met this guy exactly one week ago, and in that time we’ve taken pictures in Lethbridge, travelled to the winter wonderland of Banff, and also made it down to Waterton where we enjoyed a sunset on the beach - cameras firmly in hand of course. We may or may not already have another trip planned. Needless to say, I’m glad we met, and I know for a fact he’s going to push me to up my photography game 😉👌🏼 #wowinspired#explorealberta
diary of a type A person:
thankful for the messy parts of life- the parts that make me think and question and lean and trust. thankful for a God who cares about what makes my heart happy and takes away good things with the intention of giving me something BETTER. my mattress sits on the floor and I have a camping multitool for silverware, but I'm slowly learning that less is more and Jesus provides.
he always provides. ❤️ this is my new home (porch view to be exact) and I could not be happier
Make yourself a priority. At the end of the day, you are your longest commitment ❤️ @gopro#goprogirl#freshairandfreedom#lakeohara
It's nearing the weekend! Time is flying. How is it almost already November? November means almost December which means practically Christmas 🎄 Which is my favourite holiday... so that's exciting 💁🏼 lol Excited for the weekend! Wrapping up a long week, some friend and family plans and then to the mountains Sunday! Really hoping the weather cooperates and gives me sun ☀️ I am in need of a little mountain therapy after a couple long, busy weeks away from such!

"Oh man I'm going to remember this day for a long time. After being socked in fog for a couple of hours hoping for it to clear out, we were treated to one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever witnessed." -@Stephen_Matera📸 // #AndShesDopeToo#ChaseYourGoat
Another event for your bucket list: River racing in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿🤘 // This is the 15th Annual 'Krumlovsky Marathon' that was held last week and attracted over 1000 paddlers on all sorts of craft. That included 120 SUPs -- stand up paddlers have been part of this event since the 2010 edition when three pioneers proved they could do it. This epic race sends paddlers 25km down a river in the south of the country, close to the Austrian border, including half a dozen of these awesome "weirs" where you're literally paddling downhill!
