I love what I have on deck for lunch this week!
Details and directions below:
Cauliflower “Rice”: Sautéed in coconut oil with garlic, onions, red onions, celery and grated cauliflower! Seasoned with cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper and red chili flakes.
Roasted Butternut Squash: Oven roasted with only coconut oil (40 mins @ 400 degrees), finish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
Roasted Spaghetti Squash: Cut in half, sprinkled with salt and pepper then oven baked for 40 mins @ 400 degrees. Shred with a fork!
Kale: Steamed for 4 mins on high.

I am not in the business of running a gym. I am not in the business of profitability or generating sales, producing professional athletes, pursuing extraordinary growth or measuring my lack of input as a source of efficient output.
I am in the business of helping people. Helping them meet their goals and to live a healthy and energetic life-style. This just so happens to coincide with exercise and community; two of the pillars of crossfit and group fitness in general. It’s an amazing thing to be involved in and with.
I’m utterly greatful to have the opportunity to impact the lives of the members and at CFC as well as the CF community and their friends and families on a daily basis through our exercise programs and class atmosphere.
We suffer a little today, together, and leave better, stronger and energetic about everything and anything that comes our way.
We are a fitness community, a tight knit group of diverse people, from a variety of professional and cultural backgrounds who come together for an hour, a few times a week to move, to get our heart rate up and sweat it out and high-five each other.
It’s been my excitement, my stress relief, my satisfaction and fulfillment and truly feels like my purpose; to help and support others, the same way so many have done for me.
This is CrossFit. This is my community. And this is the business I am in. Every day and for life. ❤

Happy Workout Wednesday 🙌🏼💕
Sometimes you just don’t feel like going to the gym, life gets too busy, or if you’re up north you get snowed into the house!
Here is an at home HIIT workout that is a killer and will definitely get your heart rate up and burns some cals!
45 seconds on 15 seconds off, 4 rounds! = quick 16 mins workout! ✨10 high knees with burpee (literally lay down on the ground at the bottom of the burpee) ✨ V-ups (start with legs out and bring them in when you crunch upwards) ✨ In-and-out pulse squats (pulse 2x each) ✨ Shoulder taps (get your butt down) ✨Rest 1 minute then repeat 3 more times! -
