STRESS REDUCING HOUSE GOALS 🏡🌲 | Don’t forget that time in nature this week IG Fam. Short term studies have shown that the Benefits include but are not limited to:
A reduction in stress markers - so this isn’t just airy-fairy ‘feeling good’ - we’re talking PHYSIOLOGICAL CHANGES TO YOUR BODY BASED ON THE REDUCTION OF STRESS. Improved heart rate variability (high when healthy, low when stressed AF), as well as reduced cortisol, lowered blood pressure and improved immune function. .
It’s cold, I get that, but those of us living in busy cities especially NEED to dedicate time to stress reducing practices like time in nature in order to better handle the stress that we can’t eliminate (based on our Living and lifestyle choices). .
One major thing that I’m going to reiterate to you since the INCREDIBLY MIND BLOWING AMAZING @musclenerds_health course I’ve been on recently, is that a 6 pack is NOT A MARKER FOR HEALTH - not necessarily. You can have a 6 pack or an idealised ‘Bikini Body’ and still be unhealthy AF. Elevated stress hormones, blood pressure, blood sugar are totally possible EVEN when you’re #shredded .
So what are you going to do this week to work on your HEALTH rather than just your FITNESS??? Seriously, I want to know. Tell me below.
