Woo, last night was brutal. We're camped on the edge of a Lake in the High Sierra and the wind gusts (I'm sure that were up in the 60/70 MPH range) whipped across the lake and rocked us side to side all night. At one point something thudded against the top of the camper, so I leapt out of bed, startled. I know there was something on the roof but when I check this morning it was all clear. Trippy. Anyway, I'm just happy a tree didn't fall on us....but the trees are quite bare this morning and Fall is on its last legs in the Eastern Sierra. Time for us to head West to Yosemite. I'm pumped!
