First day in Sydney!
We visited the Opera Bar for a quick drink (soft, too tired to have fun yet!) and so that I’d at least got my bearings for this coming week of sorting my Tax File Number, my RSA (license to work in a Bar) and also grab my bank card and try and pin down some Rural work to allow me to stay for a second year... so I may be classing this month as my “holiday” but I’ll be plenty busy!
This morning we were up early as I’m also attempting a life overhaul and to get fit and healthy.
An amazing view for a morning run - and even the ground spoke to me!
Then I napped for 2 hours (jet lag, what can I say?!) but now I’m off to the beach!
Views from the Hoover Tower, a 285 feet structure that was built in 1941, as a library (now has more than that). On a clear day, you can see San Francisco and the bay area. It also houses a calirron that can ring 48 cast iron bells. Such magnificent views. It was nice to be up there, even though it was cold and showering for some time!
#landmarks converge at @cliftonsrepublic ......Clifton’s Pacific Seas cafeteria and #Bahooka.....both gone but not forgotten. Memorable ingredients of the two themed eateries have found homes at Clifton’s Republic, the one and only “forest oasis in an urban jungle”.
