How about a nice fat layer?
Last Sunday I ran into hassles with my OB-6. Mid performance the tuning seemed to freak out and go down a whole note for no reason I can track down.
Now you must know that the OB-6 is analog and sensitive. It needs to be calibrated regularly and also needs to warm up in order to play in tune.
But this was something altogether different.
A little exchange today with the talented bad-ass Carson Day over at DSI and I learned that there is a globals file which can be deleted (hold global and press 3 - no indication) and also a tuning data file to delete (hold manual and press 3 - also no indication.) Then re calibrate the synth.
And what do you know... the OB-6 is back in tune, and layering with the @roland_us JP-08 like a little 80's super star!
What a relief. Such good news.
Knew I was buying a sturdy, versatile piece when the Shore Leave overshirt caught my eye in the Manchester branch of @urbanoutfitters this time last year. Actually been wearing it as a layered piece recently & an alternative to a shirt, usually over a jumper or long sleeve tee.
I’ve titled this photo series “Fatty Roll the Faverolle Finds Snacks.” 😂 Isn’t she just the cutest?! She’s loud (borderline obnoxious), is lowest in the pecking order, and jumps around the yard more like a kangaroo than a chicken. Fatty Roll is so unbelievably weird, but it makes her one of my faves. 🤷🏼♀️❤️
