Wells may be the smallest city in England, but it has no shortage of attractions! So many medieval architectural treasures in this little place. Of course its beautiful cathedral is the most important of them all!💛// Wells pode ser a menor cidade da Inglaterra, mas não tem poucas atrações! Me: “Oh, wait... lemme get a photo of this corner too (27th photo stop on the way to dinner).
Hangry husband: “We are never making our reservation 🙄”
Me: “We’re on Italian time!” 😂🤷♀️

Many people wonder why I love Munich and Bavaria so much. It’s a very special place to me. A place that opened my eyes as a child and opened the doors to a bigger world and brighter opportunities. I was born in Lithuania, a very small country of 3 million people (there’s more people in London than in the whole country of Lithuania... WOW, I KNOW), where opportunities and dreams were quite small and as a young country who'd just separated from Soviet Union at the time, it did not have much to show or to offer. Munich showed me another perspective of people’s lives. It introduced me to ambition, it showed me what hard work can do and how people went from nada to something very inspiring. Dreaming and creating. That’s what Munich has given me and that’s why I will always be grateful for that.
What city inspired you to dream & create?

About our little after school trip last spring to La Rotonda, an architectural magnificence right in our own backyard!

I don’t think there is such a thing as too many pictures of the Eiffel Tower, but my husband would probably disagree 🙈 Is there a place you have been where you could never take too many photos?
. . . . .
I probably took more pictures of the Eiffel Tower than any other place or landmark on our trip, including this sunrise shot. I love how you can see it from so many places in Paris (including the apartment we rented). I was disappointed that there was so much construction going on at the base to build the glass wall, but I understand why they are doing it. It just meant I had to get a little more creative with my angles up near the tower to keep the construction out of it. Luckily, this carousel was there to add some fun and the Christmas market was on the other side of it next to the area we hung out last time we were there.

We’ve shared about our love for the Wawel Castle before. It consists of a number of structures situated around the main courtyard. As you can see, they encompass nearly all European architectural styles of medieval, renaissance and baroque periods. As travelers we don’t spend much time inside art museums, but we could marvel for hours, looking at the exterior of beautiful buildings. ❄️ Tell us: Do you prefer to see museums from their interiors or exteriors?

It's snowing here again ❄ I forgot to mention a new blog post from last week, a list of cafés and restaurants we visited in Copenhagen! In case you're headed there, which you should be! 😍 #capturingourdays
Some more pastel hues from Toulouse and it's lovely streets perfect for wandering. The architecture simply engulfs you no matter where you look, and the constant terracotta colours offer such visual warmth, November felt more like the last days of Summer !
I’ll just take this room 😁 Traveling takes me outside of my comfort zone to see the world; starting a blog and this Instagram page has done the same for me. I am usually the photographer, the one hiding behind the camera. I’m trying to get more comfortable in front of the camera (and with turning control of the camera over to my husband 🙈), but if you look closely, you can see I’m trying not to crack up laughing at myself here. Being in front of the camera is not my comfort zone at all, but it’s definitely a part of this world of blogging and influencing. For now, you’ll mostly see my back or shots without me as posing (or keeping a straight face while posing) is clearly not my strong suit. Am I the only one more comfortable behind the camera or are you the same way? If you have found any tips or tricks to getting used to the other side of the camera, let me know!

For me, there’s nothing like a good hot chocolate in cold days. Are you a coffee, tea or hot chocolate person (like me🤗)?! ☕️ // Pra mim, não tem nada como um bom chocolate quente em dias frios. Você é uma pessoa de café, chá ou chocolate quente (tipo eu rs🤗)?! ☕️

We can’t help but smile when we think about our amazing Erasmus experience in Warsaw. Last Winter we finally had the chance to visit the city again and it was as beautiful (and cold!) as ever. There’s a lot on the blog about our love for Warsaw and Poland, including tips on what other cities to explore 🇵🇱 Have you ever studied abroad?

A little more candid of a photo than usual but I was just in a candid kinda mood.
A lot of people were surprised the other day when we shared we are both major introverts. We work really really hard at not coming off awkward on stories/lives (oh but we feel awkward) and posing for photos (we use shutter mode). We also work hard on it in terms of our relationship.
When we first got married Bassam was surprised to see I’m not “fun all the time” and pretty quiet most of the day. He took it as I’m upset, but really, I just experience the world internally. He never noticed before because we’d see each other for short periods of time and I’d be “on” but I can’t be on all day every day.
That’s when we realized the importance of date nights or at least intentional time together every day, even if it’s just cooking dinner together. Since I know that’s our time together, I can be “on” and I’m fun, flirty, more outgoing.
If you’re an introvert, I’d love to know, do you have any strategies to avoid potential conflicts? Are you with an extrovert or introvert and how does that affect things?
