It’s always a good idea to test the fit of a dado in scrap before cutting it on your actual workpiece. Don’t ask me how I know this..... 😆😜🤦🏻♀️

Got too many wood shavings around your shop? Make a bouquet! It’s the Thanksgiving centerpiece every woodworker needs. 💐😆
As I’m working on the roof of the new workshop, I’ve been reflecting on our new podcast episode in which Mike and I discuss the relationship between tradition and innovation in woodworking (link in profile). As I get closer to closing this shop in, I’m growing anxious to get these traditional 12’ “Nicholson” workbenches installed. We will, no doubt, bring one of our other benches over as soon as the rain is completely blocked out. Once we have benches inside, it’s going to start feeling like a real workshop.

With the holidays approaching and a busy month ahead, I want to lay out a general schedule for the upcoming season to ensure you're able to snag the R+W art you want for your loved ones (or yourself - no judgement here!).
Starting next week, a new shirt design (long-sleeves!) will be available on pre-sale until Nov 29th. They’ll ship out in time for Christmas, don’t worry!
Black Friday/Small Business Saturday Weekend. There will be a new collection of mixed media available and of course prints, including at least a couple of the most recent two-panel piece. More details to come next week!
December 6th, there will be a small collection of original landscape paintings available (autumn-inspired) and also another group of mixed media pieces.
Order cut-off for everything will be December 12th and all orders will be shipped no later than December 15th, ensuring arrival for Christmas (this timeline for domestic US orders only).
Just like last year, I will be closing down after the last orders go out through January 15th to enjoy time with my family and work on a few projects. The store will remain open for print orders, but they will NOT ship until I reopen January 16th. I will have an announcement on my website as a reminder.
