I've been solo camping for the past couple years besides a few trips with my @kellybean25. It was nice to get back on the road with my buddy @imgimagery and explore new places I probably would never have found without him. All we knew was to head south and look for a road not found on Google maps, 35 miles south of the nearest city. After somehow finding the dirt road at 2:00am we pulled over in the darkness of the desert and lay out our tents amongst the dirt and rocks. After around four hours of sleep the sun woke us and excitement kept us going as we stepped into this other worldly landscape in the middle of the desert. I also got to experience honey stingers for the first time this weekend and let me tell you, what a fine cuisine them things are!

Spontaneity has been the plan for this trip. This picture is the result of an accidental 45 min short hike turned 5+ hours attempt at reaching @cerrokennedy
It was an impulsive decision to keep climbing into the unknown at the cost of no food, little water, and lack of clothes. Yes we were under prepared. Yes we left all of our real clothes @casaelemento
No we don't have any regrets.
This post barely scratches the surface of the actual events! I will start a blog as soon as I get the chance to sit and wifi again. Night ✌
