Following my previous post-The 'Transparent' Working Bandsaw.
This is a LS 36"inch #Barker#bandsaw. I've restored it perfectly just on 40 years ago when first starting #business. This #bandsaw alone has contributed greatly to my #dream. Even though I have several massive 36" inch Wadkin bandsaws and each have an allocated duty, I will still use this one on the occasion but keep it as a #showpiece in the centre of my studio. I am going remove the unsightly metal and MDF guards (which were fitted as a 'quick-fix' saftey precaution many years ago) and line it with minimal clear safety-glass (when in use). When it's not being used, the glass panels will easily roll-away or roll-in, into an automatic magnetic-locking postion (compliments to my complex shopfitting experience) when used. This easy method makes way for fine adjustments or when changing blades. I've zoomed into the image photographed in poor lighting on a tiny smart phone and even though the glass panels were dusty, you'd be hard pressed to see any evidence a thick glass panel stood between the camera lens and the massive cast wheels.
I have no doubt this idea will materialize into another successful creation, and yes I will show an image when completed.

A delightfully ducky dish at @portphillipestate a few weeks back: duck egg pasta, smoked duck ragu, cured egg 🦆
Wish I had more time to do content guys! But I literally had every single minute dedicated to my company- admin, accounting, marketing, organising, auditing, improving, changing. I also started doing an illustrator and photoshop course because I can’t wait to put my creativity to use!
This Photo is from our last days in #Melbourne when our days were filled with sunshine, walks, museums, and great dates in trendy hotspots. Looking back makes me think of how each phase in your life- holiday, work and traveling is individually and jointly valuable to your growth- if you are willing to submit to it. I am grateful for travel and I am equally grateful for work and now for studying. This is how we truly get to appreciate all the different moments as they are all a part of our big puzzle called life.
When it comes to avocado toast, Melbourne doesn't kid around. There's been an avocado shortage in the city but luckily we got to try this beauty with goat cheese and poached eggs. Once I'm back I'll be posting a city guide about our stay and the places we've been too🥑🥑
