Fun and snowy Pre-Kindergarten journey to one of our favorite places @rendezvouspark this morning! ❄️😊☃️⛷🛷
Some days you have to take a sick day and sleep all day. I taught yesterday with hardly a voice and felt worse as the day progressed. I went to the doctor this morning and then came home and spent the day in bed. I'm taking care of myself first. #stopteacherguilt
We just started our News & Media Literacy unit 🗞- I found these on TPT! They are surveys & inventories geared towards gathering information on how students feel about the social media they use. I will tag the creator once I find her!
I will be honest: I am having such a hard time getting back into the swing of things. I am exhausted! Is this a #firstyearteacher thing? 😅 #iteachtoo#iteachela#middleschool

So the new program I’m doing Includes this timed nutrition thing. It’s sweet because I’m eating food that I LIKE every 2-3 hours.
But as a teacher that can be difficult because... well I’m teaching 🤷🏼♀️ Cue my superfood shake! I love that I can drink all of my vitamins, probiotics, and protein in all of its chocolatey goodness while I make my middle schoolers feel uncomfortable and discuss the reproductive system 👶🏼
F E E T • O N • T H E • G R O U N D • H E A D • I N • T H E • C L O U D S • happy #teacherfeetupfriday from me, my “Gucci slippers” (jk...@targetstyle, duh) and my stage that has been scuffed, smeared, stained, and scratched from so much use 🙌🏻

• HAPPY GRADING • You all are the best! Thanks to you and lots of very important formal research 😂, I found the arched wooden window frame (⬅️ what it’s called) that I was looking for (more options in my insta story). I know technically this isn’t teaching related, but I must say looking at this beauty while I’m grading 50+ AP essays (currently) makes me happy, so 👊🏼.

O N E • P A G E R S courtesy of some very talented 7th grade ELA students. We completed these one pagers in about 60 minutes after spending the last week studying the affects of setting on character in our lit circle novels about child laborers during the Industrial Revolution. The kids did an AMAZING job! I’m actually excited to grade these! 😜😍📝👗👕
