I was going through photos from my last trip to Rwanda & stumbled upon this one & it took my breath away. I will never get over how astoundingly beautiful that country is. Standing in that place, watching the sun rise & the earth come to life is one of those moments I hope that I can remember in darker days. I want to remember that this is something that happens every day. The sun will rise, the earth will spring to life & beauty will show itself & spread. I can't forget. We can't forget.

Freezing rain :: Schools are closed today due to freezing rain. It is not uncommon here where I live during winter. I first learned abt the danger of this condition when I heard abt an accident of someone breaking her leg whilst walking to work and resulted at least two months out of work due to the fall. Cars and trucks lost control on the road due to the slippery condition. In a long short, the ice is formed when rain comes into contact w trees, roads, power lines, cars including my jacket and shoes which are maintained at below freezing temperaturs. I must admit that this is a dangerously beautiful phenomenon as the trees are all glossy and glazed w ice remind me of snow sculptures ^^ p.s. days like today is probably the best to cultivate mindful walking or get ard on skates 🤣🌨️👧⛸️ #somontreal#mtlmoments#wintercanada#montreal#mothernature#freezingrain#mindfulwalking#yogakeepmesane#peace#thankful
