@spriami was extremely limited in how she could train over the entire holiday season. She kept her structure with her diet for the most part and did everything she could while she needed to keep training reduced. Here she is at the START of prep, sitting in a great spot to refine over the next 4 months, without the need to drop a bunch of bodyfat and weight. Continuing to work, even when things aren’t optimal, will make it a lot easier to get right back to where you were (and even push beyond) once “optimal” is restored.

Obviously this lifestyle take so much time to build up, but it’s very important that you know what you’re doing while you’re in this journey. Back in 2015 I thought I had it all figured out- eat healthy but not too much and workout as much as I could. WRONG. So many times I see woman under eating and scared to touch weights when in reality as our bodies grow and we build more muscle our bodies require MORE food and MORE weights. Food helps fuel us and weights create shape to our bodies. So ladies, don’t be scared of food and don’t be scared of the weights!

Had a killer workout for shoulders with my boo today! I just recently learned that shoulders are built with volume meaning lots of sets 💪🏾
I was doing shoulder press on the smith machine about 5-6 sets 25-30 reps each set 😮

What does the wall say to you??? Growing up as a child whenever I did something “wrong”, as punishment I had to stare at the wall... I guess to “recollect” for about 15-20 minutes (longest time of my life)😅. I probably won’t raise my kids this way, but in some sort of weird way I feel that it prepared me for my style of training. I love making fresh and wholesome meals meals! Cooking is therapeutic to me and it’s one of my favorite ways to end the day! This is Rosemary Lemon Chicken and Veggies with Roasted Onion Kale!
Chicken and Veggies:
-5 oz pan cooked breast meat
-1 egg yolk
-1/2 a red bell pepper
-1 cup chopped celery
-1/4 an Avocado
-3oz Crimini Mushrooms
-3 Garlic Cloves
Sautéed all in a pan with
-1/4 tsp olive oil
-1tbsp white wine vinegar
-1 tbsp lemon juice
-as much rosemary, basil, oregano, onion powder, and thyme as you want
-garnish with fresh cilantro

Oven Roasted Kale:
