Today was a rough day, some days you just want to curl up and cry 😢I hate days like this. I needed to get out and go for a run to try and clear my mind but that didn’t really help 😣 but run went good and sure was nice to be able to run outside and not freeze my butt off

After a week of road tripping it felt really good to get out and get my body moving this morning. #wednesdaymotivation
i aggravated my hip flexor with my 14 miler on sunday so i've been taking extra rest so i can still run my 16 miler this weekend and @lamarathon in a month, but that didn't stop me from ordering 5 pairs of @procompression socks (for the price of 2!!!!)

On Sunday, I took my long run around the lakes in Minneapolis. Let me take you on a picture tour! Link in profile as always.
This post is brought to you by: The Fremont Bridge! Interrupting your morning run since 1917.
14 miles today (7:41 avg), with an abrupt route change when this happened at mile 6 😩 Always a relief to be done with the mid-week long run, though. Happy hump day, everybody 🐫
Today on the blog I am going for a run with Ali Feller! 🏃🏼♀️We chat about her health & fitness journey with Crohn's disease, running, favourite races, and of course her adorable puppy, Ellie 🐶 Big thank you to Ali for taking the time to let me interview her. You guys are going to LOVE it! 🤗 You can find my blog link in my profile 💃🏼
Back to back running days+ 62 degrees in February+ my SMDS donut shirt still covers the bump= ❤️😄
3.2 miles/29:16/9:09 pace for today! So happy that I was able to get some miles in these last two days when the weather has been so beautiful! Back to reality tomorrow ❄️ but for now I am one happy runner!🤗
Wednesday is usually track day, but it is race week for me and with two back-to-back days of racing, I decided not to push it out there this morning. Instead, I spent some good quality time with my foam roller and the stick and did some light-weighted Pilates for my core and upper body. #crosstraining#raceweek#GasparillaRun

Finally decided to give this a try with my hair...so much better than wearing a hat in the heat. 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
2 miles up, 1 @ threshold (6:08), hard hill loops (6:50/mile) until I was sufficiently suffering and dehydrated (4.5 miles), 1 mile Tempo (5:55), long ass cool down. 🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃 75 and sunny made this tough without much water, but I am not complaining about the spring like weather. 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃♂️
Tested out new race shoes for this one today - Brooks Hyperion. Very light, decent cushioning. I think they’ll do. 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃
In other news, i have 2 black toenails that I’m about to lose (not pictured for your pleasure). Same toe on both feet. So at least I’m consistent

Can’t find my watch, not good for a data loving runner. Felt good, after last week I need to dig back in, less than a month till LA Marathon and need to FOCUS.
When hubby is home I typically run solo, but today I really wanted to log miles with my running BFF. Pushing a stroller for an hour isn’t easy BUT you don’t get stronger from easy! [Happy dance because running makes me happy ✨💛✨]
