Hanging out at the #Duomo.
Checks continue on #Brunelleschi’s Dome. Attached to ropes, experts are checking every tile on the 15th-century cupola to ensure the general public's safety.

A group of 10 friends and I went to #Egypt during a time of political instability. From what we heard on the news in the USA, it was "unstable, dangerous, and not safe for Americans". ⠀
We were legit treated like family in the city of #Aswan, where we were greeted by the townspeople as "cousin!" and even went to a wedding!⠀
Because tourism was down, we found a packaged deal for $1100 that included:⠀
- Round-trip flights⠀
- 4 Day cruise on the Nile River ⠀
- Stops in #Luxor, #ValleyOfTheKings, more sacred sites⠀
- And of course, The Great Pyramids in #Cairo ⠀
It was absolutely a steal!⠀
Now... I would't recommend you travel during political unrest, but I would encourage you to do more research and due diligence and find other sources on what is going on in that particular country because you know... #propoganda ⠀
