Reaching your goals and leading a healthy lifestyle is not about being perfectly on track all the time. It’s in our genetic makeup to indulge here and there, be lazy from time to time, that’s okay 👌🏼. As long as a consistent effort is made in most day to day decisions you will reach and achieve your goals in time. If you want to get there faster then you need to accept that you must work harder with more discipline. It’s a simple process of deciding how much effort you can put in and based on that, accepting how long it may take you to reach your goals - realistically.
I know a lot of people who are unhappy at the rate of change they see or give up on their journey because it feels like the effort vs results scale is out of balance. So to keep yourself sane, make sure to always be realistic and reasonable when it comes to your health and fitness goals. Love your body and listen to it. Give yourself the time you need to get there and the journey will be so much more enjoyable 🌸. #gobeyondfitness#sweatorsurrender#healthychoices#daytoday#consistency#acceptance#perseverance

I have always said when one person in the family has autism, everyone in the family is involved. When each and every member of the family is engaged as one entity, coping and overcoming adversity in raising the special child becomes easier. It’s not about the boy or girl with autism. It’s about the family with autism.
Adam lives in a different world all alone. But he is no longer lonely like many years ago when he was younger. Today, Mamarai is in his world, Arena is in his world, Ara is also in his world, Mommy is very much in his world, and off course daddy is in his world as well. And hopefully by being in his world, we can teach him about our world, step by step, little by little we will eventually meet in the middle.
Watch this video. Adam suddenly decided that he wanted to pack and go on a road trip I believe. And he wanted everyone to come along, to help load up the car starting with the pillows. It looked hilarious but he was pretty stressed up. We had to go along with him to try prevent him from snapping into another meltdown. It went on for about 10 to 15 minutes. This is what can happen with our son, anytime, anywhere from one extreme to another. And we the Adam’s Autism family is ever ready to adjust, adapt, juggle, and persevere on as one.

Isn’t she lovely? My partner, companion, bff, mother to my children, my wife @idanixh
Above all she is a parent to an autistic child. Not one with just mild autism but a challenging one. She has learned to love unconditionally, puts her family first before herself, fights battles that others do not know about, and cry behind close doors so that others will not see her pain. She has been my motivation to be a better father and husband.
My wife does not like popularity at all. She enjoys her privacy. She is the one who is most uncomfortable with the growing following of adamsautismfamily recently. Even her IG is private, and she does not allow me to post many pictures of her. She always remind me to be careful promoting the family and Adam on social media. She says there are bond to be people who will misunderstand us. Those who may accuse us of seeking sympathy, exploiting Adam for financial gain, or simply making untrue stories about the family behind our backs. Personally and frankly “I don’t give a damn what people wanna say.”
I do agree with Ida to an extend. I always explain to her of my intentions and mission. I want to share our experiences for the betterment of those who are in similar conditions and who can relate to us. We have gone through much adversities and learned a lot from them over the last 14 years. And we kind of survived. Therefore we should do our little bit in advocating awareness, acceptance and understanding about living around autism. There are so many families and parents whose children had just been diagnosed with Autism. They are either lost or afraid of what’s ahead. Hopefully we can make a little difference by telling our stories. That’s all. Maybe we should think about writing a book. What you guys think?
