couldn't find the motivation to open Instagram for the last week or so... but here I am crawling right back to it 🙃

You’ll get to spend most of your days underwater in areas like 👆, contribute to rewarding projects off Los Angeles, attempt to shake ‘n’ bake #GariTheGaribaldi , AND... you get to see my mug... Every. Day. . . .

Many years ago I was bitten by the travel bug and I've realized there is no cure. Lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯🌎
I've traveled to more than 25 countries, and have now lived in 5. I'm no rookie to this rodeo. But I still get overwhelmed with dealing with day to day life shit. I still get stressed while traveling. I was feeling stressed af this particular day that this photo was captured and I knew that if I got out into nature, I'd feel A LOT better. And that's exactly what happened. Out of all the places I've traveled, nature is always my safe haven. Now let me go hug some trees.🌲 📸@nzsjoel#moretocome

Adam Kaeser, an aquatic ecologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service, releases a tagged Gulf sturgeon into the Appalacicola river in Florida. Using traditional tagging methods and new non-invasive sidescan sonar method he pioneered, Adam is better understanding population dynamics of the federally-listed threatened species. A damn that sits just above this area blocks the traditional spawning grounds these fish and Adams work has played an integral part in figuring out the best ways to manage the population. Taken while working with @nature_org in Florida.

I'll never lie and tell you it's easy. Anything that's easy ain't worthwhile...
It’s a home, a playground and a natural wonder. It’s worth protecting and fighting for #discoverocean
