If it’s not sunsets leaving me speechless here in Ethiopia, then it’s sunrises! 🌅 This one captured just a few days ago in the ancient walled city of Harar... the place where you can feed wild hyenas pieces of meat dangling from a stick in your mouth!! No joke!! 🥩 There’s a full post coming up in the blog about it soon, so stay tuned!! .............................................
In the meantime, the sun is sadly setting on my time in Ethiopia 😢. After 1 month in this country and having travelled all the way north from South Africa before that, it’s sadly time for me to wave goodbye to this incredible continent (for now) and head back to the UK for festive, family fun! First stop: LONDON!! Wish me luck people, I think it’s going to be a shock! ❄️⛄️😬🎄🧤
The holidays are upon us!! And it’s so strange to see how Australia is celebrating. As someone who has spent every Christmas for the last 5 years on the ski hill, it feels more like the lead-up to my August birthday rather than Christmas. Have you ever had a hot Christmas? How do you make it feel more like a winter wonderland? ☀️❄️ #thefulltimetourist PS Happy Channuka!! (I’m a couple of days late, but I hope you’re all enjoying it so far!) 💙
You may want to abandon your ambitious plans to explore every nook of Oslo when you enter this light filled penthouse. The wraparound terrace provides a 360 view of the city, meaning you can catch the sunrise and the sunset without ever leaving. When you do finally tear yourself away from the cozy terrace nook, wander to Colonel Mustard's for boardgames and brews before catching a local live band at Blå.
