The body was tired today & my mind was a bit hazy. I made a point to set up my trickline early in the morning before I started training clients so I would not have an excuses to miss practice later. Somedays are like this even when it comes to things you really love to do. Today it took a while for my brain to fully get in gear. I felt a bit sloppy but I still made it a great practice & stepped into my fears with a smile. Happy Friday everyone!
Practice makes progress!
To me, highlining is a personal experience. Observers are welcome to watch and enjoy, but until you've been there, understanding is beyond comprehension. Every act of highlining comes with its own sense of accomplishment. From completing the rig, to getting out there, standing up, having a leash fall, or taking a step, and sending. All of this is done solely by the individual, but it helps to have the stoke and encouragement of friends or should I say family awaiting at the end of the journey.

We had a beautiful oportunity to join slacklifeBC crew @mianoblet, @spencerseabrooke, @sketchyandylewis, @friedikuehne and others on the first repeating of the Castleton-Rectory highline (493m), the biggest US line. It was a hard work but we managed to rig it in a day. Then Friedi sent it onsight, so did I and Voříšek. Spencer and Mia got involved and sent it on second try. So this is a new female WR! Congrats! Andy improved his performance from two years ago and crossed it with one catch. (which is not too bad for such a oldschooler! =D <3). @anceekancee and Peeto had their first experiences and steps on Big line and got psyched for more! I can smell a big progress aproaching in here... Many more people got involved and had a great time on this dessert beauty. So thanks everybody who contributed to this project. It was a well spent time on the towers with this big crew of canadians, americans, french, german, czechs,... #slacklife#bighighline#towertower#castletonhighline#czechslack#dessertlife#needashowernow#nahoryadal#lifefood#eqbslacklines
