It's canyon appreciation day. This is me in Coyote Gulch, Escalante Utah. My favorite place I've ever been backpacking. You walk in following a dried up river bed in a desert and then, slowly, the walls on each side begin to rise. After a few hours, you find yourself walking in a river in a canyon. There are so many hidden oasis inside and natural bridges to climb over. This truly is adventure at its finest.
Made this faux leather TN yesterday...I tried something different than the scalloped edge on the spine. I have a Purple Cow Paper cutter and used a deckle edged blade..I think it turned out pretty well. 🙂 In my stash I had metallic thread and that’s what I used to stitch..gives it a little more pizazz! 😂 And took apart a Planner Society butterfly paper clip to use as decor. Going to add a few other elements and off it goes to my granddaughter! 💞😘 #fauxdori#travelersnotebook#junkjournals
