#FactFriday: Running is the king of cardio. Running even just 5-10 mins a day is associated with a reduced risk of dying from cardiovascular disease. Every time you run, you decrease your resting heart rate, so your heart doesn't need to work as hard.

The road to recovery goes thru the Alter-G! I ran a mile on this yesterday, my first mile in a long time. This abductor strain did a real number on the rest of my right leg. #transformationtuesday . . . At times we all face storms in our lives. . . And my own storms have certainly “transformed” me in many ways. . . From being overweight🐷, finding out about my heart disease💔, struggling with a dark past🙁, having kids young👶🏻, and getting divorced. . . We all have our own unique story, and it’s a path we all walk in our own way. . . I’m not gonna say it’s easy, or it will all work out how you want it to💁🏻♂️. . . However, storms do pass⛈, dark skies will clear, the warmth of the sun will return☀️, and life will change. . .
