In front of me is nothing less than a truly incredible scene of immense icy proportions. An Australian standing there in front of a Glacier lagoon watching massive chunks of ice slowly float past. My gaze rises as I make my way up the magnificent glacier which stands as tall as the Great Wall of ice in "game of thrones" bordered by mountains and kissed bulky a magnificent pastel pink sunrise.
After a while I look down at the small pond in front of me. I find it strangely beautiful and interesting even with all this size and magnificence in front of me. There's a thin layer of ice covering the pond cracking and creating interesting shapes.
I pick one up, turn my back on the obvious photo opportunity and take this shot :)

I wouldn't mind having this view every Monday morning.
In a way, I'm also thankful that I don't at the moment. We're extremely adaptable and comfortable. No matter how extravagant, we'll always (at least somewhat) start taking things for granted, mostly unconsciously. That's what makes us human: We don't settle. 🌍🌎🌏 #passionpassport#flyhy
