Nothing makes you feel more out of shape than your first track day in months with 16 mph winds. But it will only make me stronger, right?! Well let’s hope so because I don’t think I’m going to be able to move well for the next couple of days. I did a two mile warm up (uphill getting to the track) 12 x 400 with 400 recoveries in between with a 1.5 mile CD. I never came anywhere near my goal paces, but I’ll get there with consistency and patience. I’ve done it before, I’ll do it again. Oh and I had a track day without any skunks or raccoons chasing me 🙌🙌
Feliz martes bonitos ☀️

Hands up if you love @theathletesfootballarat run club 🤚We do!!
Run #️⃣7️⃣ of our Summer Series done and it was the perfect night for a run.
Make sure you check out www.evolutionrunners.com to see where we are running next week.
I've avoided this "long" run for so long but I finally got it done and it really wasn't that bad. would've been better if I'd eaten properly today and left my house before 11pm but 🤷♀️ #corndogdinner
I wore my gryffindor hat for warmth and inspiration (thanks @fulljude!) and gave myself a couple of quality what-would-Ginny-do pep talks during the run when I wanted to stop. Gone Girl helped too, the time goes by so much faster when I'm not constantly dissecting my running. Bix did super well again, and wore his harness again, so we're probably gonna keep going with that.
I felt pretty good throughout, and the last .8 miles were at 9:43 👻 I did have some discomfort in my hip creases (is this a term used outside dance?) which I also felt last night. it might just be the temperature, but I need to stretch it out or something. I am SO COLD right now! adios, people!
Remember your dreams and fight for them. You must know what you want from life. There is just one thing that makes your dream become impossible: the fear of failure.- Paulo Coelho⠀
Those dreams. La Diagonale des Fous, UTMB, Western States, Boston Marathon and so many places to visit off-race, so many people I want to meet, so many things I wanna do. It’s hard to see my body taking so much time to get back in shape and my mind having difficulties to put ideas into actions. But I’d rather be patient than call for failure, I’d rather keep on working than wake up in a few years, looking backward asking “what if?”⠀

Getting in a trail #runcommute and celebrating this epic way of commuting with a #runfie because, well, why not?
I saw a beautiful evening sunset during my mostly relaxing run today. I did push it a little bit on the last mile though. My wrist based HRM seemed to be working better this evening. ****************** Lately I’ve been asking God to help take away any anxiety or fear that would lead to anger or impatience. I’m thankful that we can pray and believe for His grace peace and wisdom in Jesus Name! 🙏🏼🙏🏼“Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.”

LA Marathon Training: Week 8 ✔
There are a lot of ways you can measure progress. Maybe it's running a mile further, a few seconds faster, or lacing up again after some time off. It doesn't matter what it is; what matters is that you use these moments to keep you going. For me, progress looks like keeping a consistent pace. It looks like actually getting serious about stretching more. And it looks like learning discipline in a new way. The first eight weeks of training have been great. I'm ready to hit the ground running for part two. ✌
Week Eight Totals
Miles: 36.59 (6:02:16)
Totals To Date
Active rest day. Fifty minutes of aqua jogging in the morning and then a rotational movement class tonight. I think my body is allergic to complete rest. Even if I'm not running, I do better with some movement, and this felt really good after the hard work I put my legs through this weekend -- especially with the class focusing on upper body and core. Hope everyone had a great start to their week! 🏃🏾♀️🌱😊 #run#vegan#nuunlife#beatyesterday#igrunners#runhappy
Today running without a doubt made me a better Mama 💙🏃🏼♀️
Yesterday was TOUGH in our house for everyone. We’ve all been dealing with this cold (or whatever it is) and while most of us are on the mend I felt like I was wearing thin. By the time we put E to bed I felt like I had nothing left.
This morning didn’t start our much better with a screaming child at 5 AM, and even though I was so sleepy my 45 minute stroller run today was exactly what I needed in so many ways. Those minutes will make me a more patient, understanding, and lovable Mama today 🤱🏻 This motherhood thing is the best thing I’ve ever done but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t come with some challenging days! This is why I always say that running truly makes me better Mom! 💙💙
5 miles for the day and 45 miles for the week! 🏃🏼♀️👟
Kicked off my 2nd week of marathon training with Monday miles and snow!!💙❄
A lot of you have asked me where I get my headbands -- I have quite the collection😉 ...well, I had to do a shout out to @maventhread
cause I just came across their headbands and am completely obsessed!! They have so many adorable color options and I can honestly say they are my new favorite brand for headbands. I heard about them initially on IG, but they also sell their bands on Amazon (any other obsessed Primers out there?!) Check 'em out!
Welp, have an amazing night peeps!! Happy Monday!!😘
