I always tell my couples that light trumps a beautiful location. Even though it's hard to find a spot at River Cottage that isn't gorgeous. Down at the bottom of the veg patches, might not look like it's set up for the most beautiful couples portraits. But it gets the most gorgeous light. And with two super happy just married faces, thats all you need for amazing couples portraits.

Details! Gorgeous entrance for the bride and groom. gillflett.com
I’d never made a speech before, and I went through drafts and drafts of it, preparing like it was a uni presentation where I knew the rest of my group had done no work ( #groupwork 🤬). When the day came though, like with everything else, my nerves sort of fell away, and it was genuinely one of the parts that I enjoyed the most. I had quite a few teary wobbles, but was saved by a huge comedy gasp from my uncle when I mentioned his name. For any future brides, I’d say if you want to make a speech, go for it. It feels amazing ✊🏻 (Photo: @torihancock_photography)

A night time portrait is a great excuse for a few moments alone before the first dance.

Candle lit happiness and laughter during the speeches at The Ritz, London. Another capture from Paul and Dave's wedding day - 1 year ago today. What a treat to visit the Ritz , it was so beautiful, such a amazing experience I'll never forget! @pkear@ntawali
Tears during the speeches. Capturing the full gamut of emotions throughout the day is my favourite part of being a wedding photographer. Immersing myself in the emotion can be exhausting as I often shed a few tears myself, but it’s SO rewarding!
After the past few days controversy to do with Mr D Trumph. I thought I would share with you that I had the honour of meeting him last March at Stuart and Claire's wedding.
He stood up and gave a speech... It was hilarious.
THANKFULLY, it wasn't the real President of the US, it was Stuart with a wig. We all laughed, alot.
