Recently I went through my cellar and found a bottle of CdP. As I'm not very familiar with CdP I wasn't sure what to expect from the Domaine Pégaü Réservée 1990. I didn't decant it, just let it breathe in the glass.
When I took the first nose, I knew I was in for a treat.
The nose had ripe plums, cigar box, spices, herbs, black, licorice and just a hint of brett. This is a medium bodied wine with little tannins left. The Pégaü is perfectly balanced out and drinking beautifully now. I was really blown away by this CdP.
