After lunch we took an Uber to Haight-Ashbury, the birthplace of hippie culture. For anyone who has not been, it is well worth spending much of a day here and I for one will return if my travels bring me back to SF. It was so much fun and I really enjoyed the casual culture. • 🕘 Saturday 16 September 2017• 🇺🇸 I spent a week in San Francisco. I have always been told I would love it there, and they were right. It is a lovely city with so much to see and do. Yet, let's not forget all the amazing restaurants! San Francisco currently stands as the city with the most Michelin starred restaurants in the world and I got to eat at one of the three stars on this trip! • 🦄🌸While there is no one theme, the thread that holds my account together is a love of all things beautiful, usually coming in the form of travel, food, art, fashion, and anything that catches my eye or interest. I had lunch today with my uncle and his husband at Sitges. Nowadays it's a very popular destination for gay and lesbian travellers, as it has become one of the most gay-friendly places in the world. We went to visit Julio in the afternoon, a friend of the family who invited us to enter to his house-museum.

Built in 1886 to commemorate Le Loi, who, according to the legend, was helped by the Dragon King to shelve victory with a mystical sword, giving him strength and power to rally his troops. The Dragon King reclaimed the sword in the form of a turtle (hence the name of the Lake of the Returned Sword)
